Career Day: Inspiration
On the Wednesday before Break, we had Career Day. We answered a bunch of survey questions, then we were assigned four different "classes" to learn about careers. One of mine was an author, Tim Shoemaker, and he inspired me even more to write the novel and gave me good tips. I loved learning about his series and how he became a writer, but what was most interesting is how much we had in common. Neither of us wanted to be a writer, but we both started something new and stuck with it. Although I am young and I don't fully know what I will do with my life, I hope to be inspired more and I thank him for the experience.

Great! To become a writer you have to write often and experiment. Don't be afraid to try out story lines and share with friends and family for feedback. Get to writing! And don't forget to have fun and play with writing and stories.
